The cryptocurrency market has exploded in the last year, and while it’s true blockchain technology is still very much in its infancy, new use cases are appearing constantly. Cryptocurrencies and metaverse games have now been used not just for the purchase of goods online, but also as payment for travel and other services. With this new market form many people have realized that one of the best ways to take advantage of it is through digital marketing – advertising cryptos through websites, social media posts, Youtube videos, etc.
That’s why we’ve put together this post all about cryptocurrency marketing! We’ll cover everything from finding your audience to driving engagement to how you can optimize your campaigns to increase their success rate.
1. Where to Start?
First you’ll need to figure out where your audience is. There are a number of ways you can do this:
Search online for crypto related keywords. Look at YouTube and see what other people are talking about in the comments sections of videos. There’s a subreddit for just about every cryptocurrency out there that you can search through. Do a Google search for “top cryptocurrencies” and see what comes up in the search results. If your goal is to get leads, think about how many people are searching for something like “buying top 10 cryptocurrencies” or similar things and use that as a target audience.
Use Google Adwords to find keywords that people use most often when searching for something related to crypto (or other types of on-topic search queries). You can usually find these keywords in the accounts area under “Search Network”.
Run a survey on a site like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey and put out a few different questions. The answers will give you a general idea of where your potential audience spends their time online, how they respond to certain questions, etc.
2. Who’s Your Audience?
You’ll also want to understand who your audience is, both as an individual and as an overall group. There are a variety of ways you can do this.
Google Analytics is a great way to learn about your audience’s demographics and behaviors. This can include things like age, income, gender, etc. You can also explore the types of content they are looking at and why (I recommend reading more about this in Turn Your Crypto Marketing Into Customer Loyalty ). Our site list is here.
You’ll also want to know how people use different social media platforms to discover new things. If you’ve never done so before, go here and try out a few different social listening tools that help you understand what your community is talking about. You can read more about it here .
Based on the data you collect from these different tools, you’ll want to create content and advertising that will appeal to your audience.
3. What is Your Goal?
It’s important for you to understand why you’re doing what you’re doing. What are your goals? Why are you doing it? You’ll want to set up as many goals as possible, because these will help guide your content and advertising strategies. For example, if your goal is to get new subscribers from Google Analytics, then make sure you include key phrases like “top 10 cryptocurrencies” or similar in the copy of your email subject lines so that people who are searching for this information open the email that comes from this website.
4. Who to Appeal To?
In addition to your individual audience, it’s important that you understand the needs and wants of your target market as a whole. For example, here are some questions you should be able to answer about this group:
What kinds of things do they find valuable? What are their hobbies? What are their interests? What types of problems do they have that could possibly be solved by blockchain technology or cryptocurrencies in general?
These questions can help you focus your content creation on topics that people care a lot about (and don’t already know much about). You should also take a look at any websites or social media accounts and know about seo service where people who share this interest spend most of their time online.
5. Create the Right Content
Although not everyone knows it, Google has a fairly strong algorithm that helps determine what websites should rank high in the search results on their search engine.
This means that if you have a website with content that’s relevant to your audience, and you’re able to create quality content that your readers will love (as determined by their existing behavior you discovered in step 3 ), then you’re likely to rank very high in the SERPs (search engine results pages).
You can do this through various different channels:
Create blog posts about things people are talking about online. If there’s an event happening in your city where lots of people who share your audience are going, consider writing about it. If you want to know a little bit more about the technology behind cryptocurrencies, write about that.
Create videos about new developments in your industry. If you find something about token marketing cool and want to share it with people who also care about this industry, consider making a video.
Create infographics on things people are talking about online. This can help you get your message across to a wider audience than just your own website and social media accounts, while still providing value to your audience.
