I know paleo is a very new trend. It is still young and it is growing. Most people who are eating paleo are in a ketogenic state, meaning they are eating low-carbohydrate. This is an adaptation to a lifestyle of eating mostly meat, eggs, and dairy to burn fat from the body.
Paleo is simply a way to eat the typical American diet. The idea is that you get a very nutritionally complete diet (meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, nuts, etc.) that is high in protein and is low in fat. The problem with paleo is that it is not very flexible and not very healthy to eat.
Well, if you are eating a low-carb diet, you are probably not eating the kind of meat you want to eat. Low carb diets are popular to try to lose weight but they tend to be quite restrictive. Eating paleo is all about eating that meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, and other healthy foods. In other words, you are eating a more complete diet, but this could be a diet that is less restrictive and less rigid.

Paleo dieters tend to be obsessive about their paleo diet. They spend hours on the computer and try to cut out all other foods as much as possible. I know some people who spend several years and thousands of dollars on this diet and end up with a serious case of food addiction. In other words, they become so obsessed with eating paleo, they eat every single thing on the paleo diet. We call this the paleo perfectionist.
While it’s true that many paleo dieters are eating a lot and still haven’t cut out any processed foods, one thing you can do to reduce the amount of processed foods you eat is to look for paleo-friendly brands of foods. One way to do this is to choose a brand that is low in sodium or fat, and one that is high in protein. For example, we use an organic brand of white rice, which has about half the sodium of the regular brand.
Another option is to get a vitamin D supplement, which contains no fat and is high in the important vitamin D. It’s not as good as a multivitamin, but it is better than no one supplement.
A lot of people who are trying to cut down on processed foods are trying to do the same thing as paleo, but they’re doing it by eating a diet that contains less than 15 percent of the recommended daily amount of protein, and they’re also cutting out a lot of other foods that are low in calories and high on fat. In other words, they’re cutting out calories to get the equivalent of a 1,000 calorie diet.
It sounds like a great idea but in practice it doesn’t work very well. Most of the processed foods we eat are so filled with calories that they are essentially empty calories, which makes them more filling than they were when they were low in calories. In fact, most processed foods often contain so many calories that they actually have a negative impact on your health. When we eat a lot of processed foods we actually feel fat.
