There is a big difference between the almond milk you buy in the store and the almond milk you will find in your local health food store.
The almond milk you buy in the store is high in histamine. That’s a chemical that is naturally produced in almond milk that causes people to have allergic reactions. One of the biggest risk factors for histamine poisoning is a person who has allergies to almonds.
For those who don’t know, almonds are a common ingredient in many foods including nut butter, yogurt, and s’mores. As a general rule, eating nuts, foods, or beverages that contain almonds raises your risk of histamine poisoning. But that’s not a risk alone. If you have the allergy, then you can also have a reaction to the almond oil or almond milk.
Histamine is the major risk factor for the development of severe histamine-related poisoning. The histamine-related poisoning makes histamine the main risk factor to a person with a severehistamine-related poison. It’s even possible to have a severehistamine-related poison while having allergies to almonds.
Histamine is produced by a large number of body tissues including mucus membranes, sweat glands, digestive tracts, and the salivary glands. When this happens it can cause a sudden, severe allergic reaction, such as wheals, hives, or even death. Histamine poisoning is more common in children than adults and is more likely to be fatal to adults than children, but can be fatal in children under the age of 3.
I do know that histamine poisoning can be fatal, but my question is how likely is it that you would have allergy symptoms while eating almonds…
I’m not sure if this is correct, but almonds have not been linked to histamine poisoning.
Histamine is a gas and is derived from several other sources, such as citrus fruits. Allergies are one of the main causes of histamine poisoning, but almonds are not commonly associated with allergies. If you do experience an allergic reaction while eating almonds, you should see a doctor ASAP, and make sure you are getting plenty of vitamin C.
If you have a histamine intolerance, do not eat almonds. If you are allergic to fish, make sure you are able to eat fish. If you are allergic to eggs, make sure you are able to eat eggs. If you are allergic to pork, make sure you are able to eat pork. If you are allergic to cheese, make sure you are able to eat cheese. If you are allergic to soy, make sure you are able to eat soy.
That’s a lot of food to be allergic to. As a general rule, most allergens are low in histamine, so it’s not a big deal for most people. But it’s definitely something we want to avoid. There are some things that we can eat because we have histamine intolerance (like almonds) and some things like eggs (like eggs), but the vast majority of our food is completely safe.
