This is the problem with sodium. It’s a highly regulated substance that has a certain amount, and is in fact an electrolyte (or a buffer). That means that it has a specific amount of salt in it. That’s a lot of sodium, and a high amount of sodium can cause trouble, especially if your body doesn’t like it. If you want a good dose, you’re going to have to make sure you’re eating a lot salt.
The problem is with sodium your body can get it from so many different sources (salt, sodium supplements, processed food, etc) and a high amount of these sources can cause you to overdo something. For example, if you drink three glasses of water every day, its going to take up a lot of sodium. If youre eating processed food and that contains a lot of sodium, it can cause you to have to eat more food to make up for the sodium youre missing.
Salt can also be found in things like bread, cookies, crackers, and other baked goods. When the sodium intake is too much, it can cause you to feel bloated, dizzy, and have trouble standing up. Salt tablets can help to lower the blood pressure, but they only work for a short period of time.
This effect is known as salt sensitivity. If you’re consuming enough salt for your body to be able to absorb it, you may feel lightheaded, dizzy, or have trouble standing up, which can cause you to have trouble walking, talking, or sleeping.
